In 1996, two air traffic controllers from the Jacksonville Air Route Traffic Control Center (Wayne Lee and David Blumberg) were impassioned to combine their love for music and aviation in order to benefit cancer research. 

In 2004, Aire Traffic began its partnership with Children's Miracle Network. Using aviation as an inspiration in writing, producing, and performing their music, the current eight member band continues to entertain while raising money for Children's Miracle Network to benefit the pediatric programs of Shands Jacksonville and Wolfson Children's Hospital.

This music, talent and dedication is revealed through the four current CDs and the annual live concerts.
